Where Are They Now?

Holy shit I can't believe this is still here. Maybe I'll start posting here again. Miss the old BlogSpot days. I think I'll compile some posts together covering the last 5-6 years of financial mistakes I've made.

This last picture really tells the story of this Jeep all together. Maybe I'll do a writeup of this things life with me from a deer lease rig to a super reliable small crawler.

Finally got to drive this thing since installing all the new bits. New suspension worked really well despite the fact that most would consider it over sprung. The diff is amazing, its awesome to feel it actually working. Was on street tires so grip was lacking for sure but still a super fun day at the track.

Stay orignal and get out and drive!

Changed springs, adjusted ride hight, replaced the tie rods, changed the oil and aligned it. Ready for laps on Friday.

Corsatec X Radmachine

I like to think I have a kind of style that is fairly unique to myself and who I am. I get the most enjoyment out of doing things that haven't been done or are far and few between. Things that "the internet" dubs to be wrong because its abnormal. Meeting someone else who is into the same unique style and being able to bounce ideas off each other is pretty cool. With that being said, when the black car came into my hands I was in a serious creative rut. The car stayed super mellow and aggravatingly normal. A friend of mine who is like minded and has been able to keep those creative juices flowing non stop has since pulled me out of this rut just by coming up with all kinds of rad shit and ideas. Alex(Corsatec)had a roadster that was most definitely one the coolest roadsters rolling around north Texas. He has since started another project, which I hope to be done soon and will grace this blog, and his na8 is basically being parted out. Lucky for me bits and pieces of that car will continue on in mine. I took a trip to his shop this weekend and some of those bits landed on may car. The wheels I got from him a couple weeks back. Unfortunately I didn't take my camera but the next trip to his shop I will have it handy.

 Alex's car in its prime.
 Borbet Type in square fitment.

I plan on doing another cut on the bumper. Just not sure what yet.

I'd like to give Alex a big thanks for making/donating some the the super one off things for my car. Here's a video of the making of my flipper wing. Pay attention to the background as well. Lots of gems in that shop.

Til next time. Stay original.

Stupid car, stupid problems

Key way let go on the crank. That'll do till the new engine is built.
